First of all an apology for the lack of posts. A job, a medical issue and three children with various needs kept this Mum busy. However all this will change on the 17th of September! My job will finish on that day. Our eldest son Mark has just heard that he has been successful in gaining a graduate placement and in the autumn he will start his journey into paid employment. We are soo proud of him!. Our daughter Saskia is off to Brisbane to study a semester in Oz and hopefully the youngest son Oliver will have sailed through his exams (ahem) and taking up his place at university. The house will be so empty without them but over the years I have gathered soo much vintage lace, brooches, buttons etc and then I hope to have the time to create all the things that I am designing in my head. I have made so many friends in blogland and found so many wonderful Blogs and I hope to reach out more to you all. I shall be able to show more what goes on behind the scenes here. Exciting times ahead!!

Anything old and broken, or vintage that has outlived its usefulness, I can mend and transform into pieces that are usable again. I make an eclectic mix of colourful sometimes vintage bazaar style pieces that are sometimes slightly kitsch, sometimes romantic and shabby chic but always visually stimulating and fun to wear or to have in your house.
